It's been a great journey that will hopefully continue for some time to come...and we've met alot of great people along the way, many of whom are from INTERFERENCE...

- Doors open at 8:30 ($10 at the door - no advanced tix)

- Code Revival on at 9pm (http://www.coderevival.com)

- Elevation on at 10:15pm with an opening set of newer U2 + all
of Achtung Baby! - 2nd set will begin at midnight and it will be a
full Joshua Tree tour concert set to celebrate the 20th
anniversary of the Joshua Tree album

- some friends from the Weekend to End Breast Cancer will be
setting up a donations booth and a raffle will be held for a
chance to win 1 of 5 U2-18 VIDEO DVDs...

Sorry, I have no photos, perhaps someone else can put a few up, but yes, Jess danced and did her usual top job. I think virtually everyone we know came out, certainly the U2_GTA were out in force. A few of them attended our very first gig five years ago so it was good to have those guys there for this one. I wasn't in the band at the time of course, I joined a couple of months later, but I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the two bass players who played the first six gigs between them, primarily for leaving... We had a very good turnout, in fact we set a new attendance record for the club, it was approximately 750, and we had the second highest ever bar sales too, so we were pretty pleased and the venue was ecstatic. The first set went pretty well, however by the second the audience had warmed up and the joint was rocking. The second set was perhaps the most fun I've had on stage this year. The sound engineer Debbie was very good and very nice too and I'm told the sound was loud but very clean, which is the way you want it (none of us can hear it, we're all on in-ear monitors and can't hear a thing from the PA system!) So, from our perspective, a very good event... though of course it will be as nothing compared to Vancouver.

Re: where we are staying in Vancouver... Rick you are better informed than at least three of us, I for one have no idea... it is a very quick visit for us, we basically arrive, sound check, play, sleep and leave... we might have time to fit a couple of fizzy pops in though.
