The Adventures of: U2 360° GA Philly
I don't know where else to put this, so here it goes. Move it if need be.
So yeah, over the summer I had the joy of attending U2's show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I never had any intentions of going to this show. I guess all of this was meant to happen though.
It turns out I had a little extra money and I was in New York City. So I decided to go on a little adventure. What the hell, why not? I bought my ticket about two days in advance for GA and bought a bus ticket leaving from Madison Square Garden the morning of the concert at 7:30 a.m. and a train ticket leaving from Philadelphia at midnight back to NYC.
So I set off on my adventure alone, never having been to Philadelphia. It was quite the adventure. Anyways, I arrived into Philly at around 9:30 a.m. and headed down to the stadium. I got my number and got in line. Lo and behold, there was an Interference member right in front of me in line: theedgeu2. In fact, we were already pretty familiar.
It really shows you how much of a small world it is. Vincent, being numbered at ~#200 and myself being numbered at ~#450. To my guilt I hopped the line and hung out with him all day, and we ended up just sticking together for the whole concert through the entire GA process.
Along the way and through the concert, the small world we live in continued to get smaller. We ran into (and had our spots next to) fellow Interference members Bonogirl777, Andreianloth, and secretly alone.
So, as promised 6 months ago, here's the video montage of the day from my camcorder. It's about 45 minutes long, so if you've got time take a look inside the experience!
