You only have to be 15 to get yours? Lucky. You have to wait til you're 16 to get yours here.

yeah, 15 for permit, 16 to drive here. although there're still all sorts of restrictions on how many people you can have with you in the car til you're 18 (I'm not sure if most people follow them though )

I think they're actually changing it to 16 for permit, 17 to drive, (too many teen deaths) but I (hopefully) missed the cut on that, if it's even happening. As if 1 year's gonna change anything! how bout some decent state-funded driving classes...

Here, it's 16 for permit, 16 1/2 to drive. But for the 1st 6 months you can't have anyone in the car with you unless they're a family member. I followed that rule. And by followed that rule, I mean I didn't get caught . Now I can drive people legally.
