A few things, wherever you choose to go to college... dont get stuck with crap roommates like myself. And make sure, whatever you do, to get yourself out there (and this applies to anyone going to college). Get active, dont sit in your dorm. Meet people. Your roommates are not your friends. Meet people with similar interests, etc.

I know you'll probably hear that when you go there. Don't ignore it, trust me.
I'm about to turn 17 in one week and I'm in 10th grade right now. I should be in 11th grade but I got held back before kindergarten. I'd make sure not to get stuck in the dorm. It'll probably be hard for me to leave home as I have actually become attracted to this place and have had so many great memories here. But also there are the times where I just can't wait to leave this place! No parents, no one bossing you around (essentially anyway). I'm kind of looking forward to post-college and what I'll be doing then.

Oh yeah I forgot to add that I'll be graduating in 2013. And I'd definitely be getting an apartment. Where my mom went she said she got an apartment after the first year and that you only spent a year in dorms. But I won't be going there.

Yeah unless you know who you're rooming with dorms are an awful idea. Well, it depends on the school really.

Living on campus is a huge advantage. So if you're lucky, schools like mine (UCF) have both apartment style dorms and real dorms. I'm, unfortunately, in a real dorm. So I share my room with an asshole.

Only thing that sucks about the apartment style dorms is that you're still under the constant reign of the RA Gestapo

Haha out in swampland? Just kidding. Yeah, I go to UCF. Small world. I guess that would add up to why you went to the Tampa show?

College... 2 years away.

Btw does anyone really enjoy the ending of If God Will Send His Angels (album version)? I love the whole song but the end of it is so magical. In my mind I see this music video with the band walking down this street and the camera behind them and the sun is setting, this is with the end of the song where it's just the drums and the "angels". They're also a little out of focus maybe? It's really magical to me and I wish I could shoot a music video to it with my own ideas.

I'm not a Pop person at all, but I really do like it. Sun setting, for sure. And btw, you had pizza and brownies written all over you.

(cheese head and brownies)
