Tell the customer that plans have changed and you are taking the customer to a "special dinner" in Manhattan....Then ditch the customer, send him/her back on the train back to Ct. and hang out for the show.
Trust me, I will be having a bunch of tall cold ones.

I used to see them every couple of months but then baby numb was born so it's a lot less now....Perhaps 2 or 3 times a year.

over 1,000 people came out friday night... lines stretched down 42nd street onto 7th Avenue.
set included an acoustic rendition of mothers of the disapeared, ala u2's argentina concert, complete with mick on mandolin, a full on rendition of when loves come to town, complete with guest soloist Irving as a stand in BB, and a full band b-stage rendition of love and peace or else, out in the middle of the crowd.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing, and it sounds like it was one helluva show! Joshua Tree had Pamela Anderson in the audience at the Hard Rock in LA and a couple got engaged on stage during All I Want is You. That was pretty cool.

The line to get in was loooong and cold. Brrrrr
Highilights include screaming headache at the top of my lungs every time i saw him outside when he was filming.
Mothers of the Disappeared was brilliant
When Love Comes to Town was excellent
Did I hear a cover of Devo's "Whip It" before Vertigo or was I that bombed??? LOL

On a down note, I did not get porn star Tabitha Stevens phone #.
