First a short little story.
Everyday this week, I checked the Santikos site for Thursday show times. Well yesterday morning I checked U23D wasn’t even listed for Thursday. Boohoo so I bought myself 2 tickets to the Wednesday night 5:45 show. We arrived just in time, bought wine and picked some great seats. The place was empty, yeeee haw my very own private screening of U23D. After 15 minutes of waiting, I went to ask the guy who checked our tickets and gave us our 3D glasses, “what’s up with the movie?” he radios management and they tell him U23D was canceled. The usher was never told. So broken hearted we got our money back.
This morning I checked again, U23D will be shown twice on Sunday, 8:30 and 10:30, I’m going to buy tickets again, in hopes that the show won’t be canceled again.
San Antonio U2 fans STEP UP , The more tickets sold, they wont cancel the show.
PLUS, the price went down a couple dollars.
I’ll be at the 8:30 show on Sunday.
