Road Trip to New Orleans?

Okay, I just had this great idea.

First, read this interview with Edge about New Orleans, if you haven't already:

Now, what if all us interferencers and online U2 fans picked a weekend, and ALL visited New Orleans? We would all stay in a few hotels, pack them full, and go see live music and party all weekend. We'd pump money back into the local economy, and help out local musicians and clubs. We could publicize the trip, hold a fundraiser for 'Music Rising,' etc. We'd make Edge happy. There are so many things that we could do. I bet we'd get good press for it, too.

I wanted to go this year for JazzFest. If I go to NO it's going to be about the music and supporting Music Rising for sure.
