The ONE Campaign and ONE Columbus is sponsoring Stand Up Against Poverty in Columbus, OH on October 15th at 1pm at Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - The LC - (formerly Promowest) in Columbus Ohio, in the Arena District.
Come out to this free event and grab some free ONE Campaign merchandise, listen to great local music, and hear our guest speakers talk about the UN Millennium Development Goals, and how you can help take action to Make Poverty History.
Stand Up Against Poverty is an international event, and the Columbus event will be the biggest Stand Up gathering in the Midwest.
And it's free! We'd be thrilled if any of you guys could make it.
I'm the Volunteer Leader for the ONE Campaign in Columbus, OH, and my partner in this event is Katie Andrews, field organizer for the national ONE Campaign. We're hoping for a BIG turnout, and we'd love to see some U2 fans attend.
