Rick do I need to reserve my parking spot at that lot? I saw a link to reserve, is it likely to be full?

14th to 59th... let's see. these are the places on that list that i've actually been to

Clancy's 978 Second Ave. (between 51st & 52nd St.) (212) 755-8383... ok i haven't actually been here but considering i share a last name with the pub i'm gonna have to make a stop soon
Connolly's 14 E. 47th St. (between 5th & Madison Ave.) (212) 867-3767
Connolly's 121 W. 45th St. (bet. Sixth Ave. & Broadway) (212) 597-5126
Connolly's 43 W. 54th St. (between 5th & 6th Ave.) (212) 489-0271
Connolly's 150 E. 47th St. (between Lexington & 3rd Ave.) (212) 692-9342... been to one, been to 'em all. decent place, businessperson happy hour crowd, decent food
Flannery's 205 W. 14th St. (between 7th & 8th Ave.) (212) 229-2122... my favorite place... like a neighborhood pub in the middle of manhattan. largely a local crowd, good drink prices, great bartenders, only problem is no food
The Irish Rogue 356 W. 44th St. (between Eighth & Ninth Ave.) (212) 445-0131... an ETS party was here, i was hammered, don't really remember much about it other than that i didn't have to pay '
The Joshua Tree 513 Third Ave. (between 34th & 35th St.) (212) 689-0058... despite the name, the only thing u2ey in this place is the occasional song on the jukebox. pretty good happy hour crowd, 25-35's age type
McFadden's Saloon 800 Second Ave. (42nd St.) (212) 986-1515... this place will be an absolute mess on st. patrick's day. it's well known and is "the place to go" for those who don't really know of any other place to go and don't go to the city often. crazy time but incredibly crowded to the point where it's hard to move
P. J. Moran's 3 E. 48th St. (bet. 5th & Madison Ave.) (212) 753-6440... if i remember correctly this place is split into two halfs, the resturant part and the bar part... both get very crowded, more of an older crowd, on st. patty's... probably need reservations for the resturant part but not sure
The Old Castle 160 W. 54th St. (between 6th & 7th Ave.) (212) 471-4860... only been here once, but that one time i shared pints of guinness with denis sheehan and joe o'herlihy, so it's got that going for it
O'Neill's 729 Third Ave. (between 45th & 46th St.) (212) 661-3530 ... your normal irish pub, pretty good food if i remember right
O'Lunney's 145 W. 45th St. (between Sixth & Seventh Ave.) (212) 840-0692... kind of an art deco celtic vibe... good food and all, but just not really your typical irish pub.
Pig 'n Whistle 165 W. 47th St. (between 6th & 7th Ave.) (212) 302-0112... don't remember shit about htis place, just remember i've been there
Stout 133 W. 33rd St. (bet. Sixth & Seventh Ave.) New York, NY (212) 629-6191... nice place near penn station, gets very busy around rush hour
Tir Na Nog 5 Penn Plaza (33rd St. & Eighth Ave.) (212) 630-0249... similar to stout but with a more irish feel, right across the street from MSG/Penn Station, good food, small place that gets very crowded, but not so bad that you can't move
Tracks Raw Bar & Grill Penn Station -LIRR level New York, NY (212) 244-6350... located inside penn station, long bar, good guinness, more of a meeting place for people coming in off the long island rail road than anythign else.

below 14th street...
McSorley's 15 E. 7th St. (between 2nd & 3rd Ave.) (212) 473-9148... the oldest pub in new york city. likely to be packed to the gills on st. patty's day.

above 14th street...
The Banshee Pub 1373 First Ave. (between 73rd & 74th St.) (212) 717-8177... great atmosphere, good drinks, good crowd

one of the best things on st. patrick's day is just to walk the city, find a place and check it out with no real plan... ooor have a plan, hoof it, and stop at every bar on the way there.

I wasn't expecting a detailed breakdown of every semi-Irish bar in Manhattan!

Heh.

Ok, contact info has been sent out.

FYI: Everyone on the list is attending the UF show. I may have missed an "UF" here or there, but everyone's going!

and i'm sure that 160 irish pub list is incomplete, and that's not including the regular old non irish type bars.

um yea... we like to drink.

Well, I'm sure it's obvious since I've been in "maybe" status all this time, but I won't be able to attend this. Too many things going on right now that are preventing me from doing so.

So everyone have a great time, and I can't wait to see what I'm sure will be really interesting pics afterwards.
