I will be in NYC that day, I march in the parade with the pipe band I belong to, so I will be in there. What time do they go on because we do a pub crawl and play after the parade.
**Tir Na Nog** bar (Across from MSG) will be open at 5am on 3/17 for anyone looking to get up early, Kegs and Eggs as we call it.

Every year a bunch of pipers and drummers get together and head to the Tir Na Nog and have some and play before the parade. I do have to say its not for the weak of heart to be drinking that early.

11:30PM.

5:30am to drink is just horridly early. Even on St. Patrick's Day. God bless ya if you can do that and then play bag pipes.

Tir Na Nog is a very nice/cool bar. But to be there at 5am to START drinking is even a bit early for me....being there at 5am AFTER drinking is another story.

by staging areas you mean where the marchers gather? if so, they gather on 44th east of 5th.
