Abel, we'll be there the whole time, and Whackamole, if she goes will be too.

Early next week I believe we will finally find out which eras are on which nights.

Since we'll be staying at the Marriott, everyone can meet at my room for some pre-show fun on Saturday

The 15 really isn't undriveable, justa pain in the ass. I haven't been on that section in a while, but I know it's under construction.

I'm probably talking out of my ass; the 15 is probably fine under construction, just not relaxing.
no problem, martha! i'm coming from NORTHERN California, just a smooth road toward the decadence and greed of Vegas!

just a step away from the Las Vegas airport. why not avoid the potholes and the drunks?

matha, LA chics face those terrible police checks, right? the police are ONLY wanting to take in DRUNK drivers, i think!

too bad, isn't it? stopped before you reach the casinos? i will remain optimistic...

did you know? anika and myself, in a white honda civic, made South Tahoe in good shape, just 6 and one half hours late! for a lovely romp on the avenue, casinos and dancing, even kissing! (for the lovebirds among the clan!) that would be you, Steve, and anika....

(anika is my witch friend, long moved to Portland, if you must know) **calm down, dear, we don't want to awake the evil band-leader, and have pine trees come crashing down on tired travellers. do we? **got the picture? no, then have a drink on me, i'll meet ya in the heather, the green and red ivy of yore...

airfares are now in the $500 range that does not make sense for me to spend for only 2 days.

what part of the country are you from missvelvetdress? sorry, I can't recall....have you tried travelocity.com or cheaptickets.com? I found tickets, directly from American Airlines for $256 RT

I even did a search as far away as Miami, and NYC to Las Vegas and found tickets in the same price range.

i will be flying in from atlanta. it is expensive to go to vegas from atlanta i may just have to wait and see if the airlines post some last min. weekend getaway deals.

these are my travel sites that i use:
travelocity
expedia
orbitz
delta
american airlines
american west
united
cheap tickets
hotwire

i have even thought about driving to birmingham alabama to fly southwest airlines to vegas, but that fare is also running high too. i would cash some frequent flyer miles in, however i am using 25,000 miles to fly to maine in july for my brother's wedding and that does not leave me with that many miles to buy a round trip ticket to vegas.

i am not tossing in the towel yet, but just thought i would let y'all know what i am facing here.

besides that i am flying in from North Carolina on March 14 at 10PM (Friday) to Atlanta from a business trip. i would have to turn around and fly back out of the airport the following morning to vegas.

if i can get a damn good deal i will do it.
