so take an airplane, if the road's blocked. conquer that fear!

there are evil forces trying to prevent any real good time, can't you see? bust on through, find an unfamiliar route, take a train (this causes terror, of course ) Amtrak just can't move enough passengers this time of year, for sure.

maybe Bono will come by and pick you up in his limo, you just never know!
Charge it! (reminds me, be sure to bring ID and ATM)

love will find a way huh?

It's not so bad you can't drive through it, but it is a pain in the ass, especially on Fridays when all the assholes who want something for nothing are impatient to get to Vegas. I usually take the 10 to the 62 (which will take you right by the Harmony Motel ) to the 40. It's a long-ass detour, but it feels faster because the traffic isn't backed up and dangerous. The 15 really isn't undriveable, justa pain in the ass. I haven't been on that section in a while, but I know it's under construction.

I'm probably talking out of my ass; the 15 is probably fine under construction, just not relaxing.

Apparently I'm an idiot. If you're coming from the Bay Area, you can take the 99 to the 58, which connects with the 15 at Barstow. Which means you miss the Victorville to Barstow section altogether.
