i know this is a bit off-topic but i only want to ask melbourne fans this-
well ive never been to a u2 concert before and im waiting and waiting for the next tour and album.. and i heard a lot of reviews from the telstra dome that the sound was a bit of an echo and not great and the so called "GOLD SEATS" were crap
so assuming the next concert is at telstra dome
wheres the best place to sit or stand??
im assuming general admission??

GA is the best for sure. But will involve lots of hanging around on the concert day to get the best spots.
We had "gold seats" for Telstra Dome and they were shit. As you said they were very echoey and when everyone stood up it was hard to see because the seats above hung too low
