JT U2-charist on Oct 13

The Joshua Tree will be performing at a U2-charist event at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA.

This is a family event open to all ages. The show will begin at 7PM. Hope to see you out there.

Also, JT will be playing the main showroom at the Suncoast Casino in Las Vegas, NV on October 26, 2007. The show starts at 10PM.

Just so everyone knows, although the U2charist event has a religious aspect to it, the organizers are very sensitive to that fact. They don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable and want the event to be fun for everyone.

If I walked in, I'd have to wear one of these...

We originally had planned to go, matter of fact, I already booked a room at the Agoura Hills Marriott because I've got some work in the area (for Saturday morning) but it just isn't in our plans..we'd come home Sunday, just for me to turn around and return to West Hills and Northridge on Monday,,,not this time....sorry for us but have fun!

We are doing a few songs that we have not played in awhile..Mothers of the Disappeared and MLK as well as adding Rejoice to our list.

This should be a fun show and a unique look at the music of U2. I'm certainly looking forward to it and hope we get to see some famliar faces!

Oh great...NOW you do Mothers of the Disappeared!! I didn't get to hear it in Vegas..although I heard a tease from Chedge..( I think it was the Friday night show) and got all excited...

Great show - really liked it. I have two 20 second clips of Rejoice on my cellphone cuz Chas told me they had never played it, so I recorded a bit. Sounded great in the church. Really great to see JT again! Thanks for being so cool Chas Nice to actually meet Mike and Scott tonight.

Yes, we did do MOTD. That was the only one she missed. Well, that and the snippit of When I Look at the World he threw into Bad.

I had a great time last night. It was kind of coming full circle in 3 1/2 year since our 1st show was in a church. I'd love to do more of these events in the future.

I had a video camera in the balcony. If any of the video came out, I ll try to get some clips posted on our web site.
