I think it's about 25 minutes inland from Oceanside. From Orange County I think it's less than an hour and a half.

Do they start at 8 pm? Normally they state a time, but it ends up being much later.

Hmmm, if they start pomptly at 8:00 and end right at 10:00, that's a little more incentive for me to go. I didn't want to be driving from Pala back to Long Beach at 1:00/2:00 in the morning.

I know its a bit of a different story when we are at Romanos....those tend to be very late nights! Where we play at Pala is a great room. I hope we see you there.

Have to say, Chas and Joshua Tree played at great show this past Saturday night. UltraViololet sounded great!

The Pala Casino is a great venue. Nice size stage. Just a great place to have a show.

They had a new bellydancer for Mysterious Ways. Michelle was amazing and would have made Morliegh proud.

And another new item? What better on Adam Clayton's birthday than to have JT's "Adam" premier his Warwick Reverso (Adam Clayton signature model). That thing sounds and looks amazing. I got to hold and pluck around on it a bit after the show. Fantastic bass. Nice balance. And far lighter than one might think.

Just wanted to share that bit. Always good to see the tribute bands out having fun and sharing U2 music.

Great seeing Carlos out at the show. Sorry I didnt' have a bit more time to hang out afterward.
