I won't be able to be there.

It's my school carnival that evening, and then the beginning of Steve's birthday weekend. :sexywink:

You would rather spend your Friday evening with a bunch of loud, ill-behaved, fighting kids than with us?

On second thought, seems like six of one, half dozen of the other.

;)

We are headlining BUT we are not the last band. OK, I'm sure you are confused.

We told the Blue Cafe that we'd love to headline but we'd much rather play the 9pm slot.......a 11:30pm slot is a bit late for ya'll right?!! Me too!!

So, we are the headline act that night, BUT we are playing earlier. The best of both worlds.

So, now I need to make a set list for the evening ........ so what would you like to hear?

Thanks!

Chas

"North To Alaska"

*Way up north,way up north
North to Alaska
They go north,to Russia's home
North to Alaska
They go north,to Russia's home

Big Sam left Seattle in the year of ninety two
With George Pratt, his partner and brother Billy too
They crossed the Yukon River
And found the bonanza gold
Below that old white mountain
Just a little southeast of Nome

Sam crossed the majestic mountains
To the valleys far below
He talked to his team of huskies
As he mushed 'em through the snow
With the northern lights a-running wild
In the land of the midnight sun
Yes,Sam McCord was a mighty man
In the year of 19 1

**Where the river is winding
Big nuggets they're finding
North to Alaska
They go north,to Russia's home

(Repeat *)

George turned to Sam with his gold in his hand
Said, Sam you're a-lookin'at a lonely, lonely man
I'd trade all the gold that's buried in this land
For one small band of gold a placed
On sweet little Ginnies hand

Cause a man needs a woman to love him all the time
Remember, Sam, a true love is so hard to find
I'd build for my Ginnie a honeymoon home
Below that old white mountain
Just a little southeast of Nome

, man I can't swing that... $10 is much better, though. Thanks for the flyer!

About NCAA football, I do think it'd be cool if OSU and USC played. They've had such historic match-ups.
