I'm posting this for Janelle.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Hi, I would like to introduce myself before the year gets any further under way; this is Janelle, Missa’s very shy younger sister. I’ve had the privilege of meeting some of you at the many brilliant JT venues recently, and thought it time to say “Hello Hello”. It has been great meeting you all.

I would also like to thank the members of JT for everything they have done. At first I appreciated JT for being a great tribute band. But now, now I know better. JT is far above the status of “tribute band”. JT owns its sound completely. There is not one element of mimicking in its music. The members of the band play with more passion and dedication than any fan could ever ask of them. I’ve seen JT perform 3 times, and every single time they manage to pull some deeper part of themselves out into the songs. And even now, after my attention and loyalty has been earned, they take it one step further to gain my heart. I would like JT to know that their performance last night was not simply a great show, but an almost spiritual experience. It was humbling to listen, and watch, and feel the soul of something so much greater than myself.

So, I thank you…

Janelle,

That was a beautiful post! Thank you and we all share in your feelings. JT not only rocks, but they are genuine, sincere, caring and talented individuals. It's good to see both you and Missa at the shows. Hope to see you at many, many more!

Anytime Bono! I'll definitely be there when you play once more. Did I read that you're gonna play at Normandie Casino in a few or was that my imagination?

I can bellydance you know! :sexywink:

Just to warn you, Jason ignored the belly dancer on stage at the Hard Rock. :lmao: It was kinda funny.

Just wanted to say thank you to all who attended the show last night. Molly's was packed and we had a great time. Exit rocked the house and hearing Trevi sing with them for the first time at a show was an incredible experience and a moment I will not soon forget. She is amazing! These ladies are gonna go far, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you that.

Anyway, much love from all of us to all of you. We really love seeing our Interference family at shows as well as meeting new fellow U2 fans. To those of you who travel far to see shows, we really appreciate it. Extra lovin for you!

God bless,

Jason and the Joshua Tree boys.

P.S. A Texas size hug to Allegra for coming all the way from TexASS and for the shirts.

P.S.S. Thanks to Karen for the "Irish accent" breath spray.

P.S.S.S To Angel of L.A., thanks for the dance sweetheart.:sexywink:

No, God Bless YOU, Jason and the Joshua Tree Boys!!

Looks like the next show will be at the Whale and Ale in San Pedro on January 29th, but it's not 100% inked as of yet. We'll post it here as soon as it is. The Normandie Casino is something were working on for the first part of this year. That's where we played that benefit show for Shawn Hill with the 20 other tribute bands back in Sept., we just have to contact the booking agent to ink it.

As far as bellydancing is concerned, are you for hire? Mysterious Ways is soon to be on the setlist...hint hint.:sexywink:

Jason....do you remember the belly dancer that shared the stage with you at HRC?  :lmao:

Sorry to say that the BAW's can't make tonight's show; hope Joshua Tree and Exit play it loud and long! maybe next time!

We missed you BAW's!!!!! JT is probably playing Jan. 29th in San Pedro. I'm going there rather than to see Oingo Boingo and Electrical Storm at Canes.

Happy New Year!

:applaud: Wonderful post!

You took the words right out my mouth!!!!

JT is too so close to the real thing!

The real U2 gives that special feeling that no one else can give...that was until JT came along...they've captured it!

Oh...I forgot to tell everybody here...in the pics that I took last night...it's no longer about the ASS or the "rear view"

I've got a shot of Jason that's going to make him turn like this  ...well, you'll see it later...that's after I figure out how to use my camera.

Also note to Jason: Wear tighter pants...hint, hint!!! :sexywink:

Thanks for a great evening!

Thanks to Exit and JT for an awesome evening! I'm normally an Interference lurker, but just had to come out and give you all props. It was great to see Trevi on stage with the ladies of Exit --- you done good! And JT, I was so happy to finally have a chance to see you perform live. You really embody all that U2 exhibits onstage --- and I agree with a previous poster, it was really almost a spiritual experience. Jason, you seem to have that aspect of Bono's personality in common as well, which is essential to performing with the passion he has :)

Best,

Candice (In the purple Pac Man t-shirt)

P.S. Thanks for the dance(s)!

I'm speechless! Thank you so much. Both you and your sister have become a very special part of our little JT family. I'm am humbled each time we play by the responses we recieve and the support that we continue to get. I started doing JT because I love playing U2's music. I never imagined that it would bless my life with the new friends I now have like you and Missa and the many others! I'm am truly a blessed guy!

Thanks and God Bless You,
Chas

Is this THE Candai bird? I thought I saw you at the show but I wasn't sure so I didn't approach you. You may or may not remember me--it's Mitzye I used to be Cami's roommate in the Bay Area way back when. You and I went to a PJ show together in 2000 and had quite an adventure...how cool to run into you here though I am not surprised! How have you been girlie?

Hey Mitzye! I KNEW that was you dancing in the My Little Pony shirt :) What a small world!

Where are you living now? What's the scoop? Send me an email or something :) I'm back in Orange County, engaged to Matt (don't know if you ever met him), and just saw Camille at my birthday party last month :)

Witness the power of Interference! *grin*

Butt I must admit, MW is one of my favorites (for many reasons) and the bellydancer adds such a seductive mysterious entertaining aura to the number! I say do it, guys (and Angel).....I'd love to see it. The real Bono has admitted he has a thing for bellydancers!

LOL, I love My Little Pony--the 80s were awesome. I'm currently living in the South Bay and working in PR. I'm glad to hear that you're back in So. Cal! And BIG congratulations on your engagement, I've never met Matt but what a lucky guy he is.

We should try to get together soon, I'm going to go to the next JT show and of course I look forward to having another adventure with you when U2 begins their tour. Man, whose gonna ride our wild horses?

Awesome :) I work in advertising, so our paths crossed again in many ways :)

Did you go to any Elevation Tour shows? Maybe we were in the heart together and didn't even know it!

I did! I was in the  2nd and 3rd night at the Anaheim shows. LOL, I took Cami and Maria, our roommate at the time (her first concert ever) to see U2 in San Jose on their first night. Those were good times! I *know* you were in the heart at their shows, I can't imagine you being elsewhere. I actually got to meet Bono in Anaheim! I drooled myself into a puddle but surprisingly, did not make an a$$ out of myself.

I hope you and JT work it out, I'd love to see it, seriously. The Zoo-2 band in San Diego has a belly dancer come in during MW at every performance. When Jason filled in for their ailing Bono at La Jolla's HRC there just wasn't enough room on the stage to get into the belly dancer "performance" what with the dancer, singer and all the band on that small stage. I'd love to see JT do this tho! Let's keep buggin them and if you need a drink to get out there I'll buy ya one!

;)

Awww that's so great :) I remember Maria. Never really talked to her - she seemed quiet, but nice - but I have a pic of her and me and Camille from a Cal formal. Also have some pics of you on my website somewhere -- from our St. Patrick's Day party in SF, etc.

I was there for the 1st tour, in San Jose, Anaheim and San Diego. San Jose 4/20/01 was the best show ever :) We were in the so-called "Golden Circle" once in SD (never again!), then were on the rail against the stage in the heart for the 2nd and 3rd time, and I met a ton of U2LAers in line. Got a rose from Bono, met Adam and Larry, etc. Good times!

I agree...4/20/01 *was* the best show ever. I don't think I've cried that hard in my life and felt that great afterward!
