Fan gatherings in Melbourne or Sydney?

Hi

I'm in Melbourne at the moment and wanted to ask if here are any fan gatherings or something like that.
I'm on a work and travel trip and at the moment I'm staying here in this beautiful city.

The same would be for Sydney. I cannot say when I'm going to Sydney, but it would be nice to meet some other fans there.
I don't have tickets yet, because the trip was expensive enough. So I don't think that I'll make it to any concert.

If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I wanna go see them,but Australian U2 show is only showing in melbourne and Albury(which may as well be Vic,it's so far away! )

I need a U2 fix!

I saw SundaybloodySunday once at Molly McGuires in Camden many,many moon ago...it was a hoot!!!!

I am hoping to go to this gig.....can't wait!!!!
