anyways, I know 'thehepcat' is from thereabouts, but he hasn't been on in a while.
Moonlit_Angel said:I know Iowa may not have nearly as much to offer as somewhere such as California or New York, but it's not a bad place to live overall. It's a pretty state scenery wise (I don't know about other parts of the state, but the northwestern area has a lot of hills, which makes driving through the countryside kinda nice). And it's not all boring-some really cool people have come from Iowa, if that's worth anything.
My only real complaint with Iowa is that I wish we weren't a part of Tornado Alley.

But yeah, that's the area of the state I'm from-what part of the state are the rest of you Iowans from (you don't have to give exact cities or anything like that if you don't want).

I live in the north-central part of the state now, but I used to live in NW Iowa and am pretty familiar with it.

nah, I hear ya. I have nothing against Iowans, I just hate the drive from MN to MO. ugh. No variety. Then again, ND is a thrilling state to drive through as well, eh Lilly?
