Howling Wind sequel

Hi folks,

I've written a sequel to The Howling Wind, which is that one where JT Edge became a werewolf. Anyone interested?

(As usual with me, it's not a romance story.)

PS: Happy New Year!

Righto...

1. It's not actually 100% done yet. I realise I was a bit pre-emptive in asking for expressions of interest, but it was 4am on NYD and I may not have been entirely clear-headed.

2. I'm not sure I can be bothered splitting it into chapters and posting it here, I'm more inclined to just email out the whole document when it is done. So, pepper me with email addresses, if I don't have them already.

3. Your sig, Vertpomme... When I saw that bit I was expecting that the trees being in perfect rows would be a bad thing... *L* I kinda like the messy randomness of nature.

4. That's a very trippy avatar, Reggo

1. Tease!

2. I trust you have mine

4. Tis an artist's depiction of the strings of string theory. Kind of hard to render something one-dimensional into a two-dimensional image, but I think it looks quite cool.

The new addition to my sig is actually Edge's quote from
It Might Get Loud about songwriting and how you try and
try to get it right. Then, just when you think it's not going
to come together, you try again and BOOM there it is. I
finally truly understand why Bono says that Edge is the calm
before the storm, the one of the band.

Although Edge is talking about songwriting, when you
really think about it, what he says applies to many
aspects of life in general. It is rather zen and uplifting
all at the same time. Mr. The Edge sure is a smart guy

I'm interested... not sure if you have my email, though.

It be: josee-m_smith@hotmail.com

Or: joseesmith@schoolathome.ca (sometimes the hotmail one doesn't work for me )

Yeah, I knew that was where it was from; I saw the film and enjoyed if very much. Sorry I didn't make that clearer, I was trying to be all concise, clearly I'm not very good at that. *L*
I was saying that I expected Edge to say that the trees all being in perfect rows was a bad thing when I watched that bit of the film, but I totally get what he was talking about, with the clarity and that moment when it all falls into place.

Oh haha I thought you had seen it, but I couldn't
remember. You know after I reread your first post
about the quote, I started to think about it differently -
you comment I mean. Sometimes we look and all we see
are the trees in perfect rows when what we really
need to see is the mass of trees trunks. Again, it goes
back to what Edge says about looking at things from
the wrong angle.

Well yeah, different perspectives revealing different things. It's all good.

*drags self back on topic*

Anyway, as usual the epilogue's taking a lot longer than I thought it would, so I'm going to send out the main bit of the story and then follow with the epilogue when it's done (which shouldn't take too long, I hope!). Am hoping to get the story emailed by or on this weekend.

"Has Timmy fallen down a well?"

I needed a laugh like that today. I'm so thankful you didn't torture us by chaptering this out. I need more time to think of the approriate words but for now will suffice?

That was great, Ali! Very well done, and,
like Reg said, I definitely liked being able
to read the whole thing at once.
