Adam, holidaying in Malaysia, was unaffected by the tragic events around the Indian Ocean following Sunday's tsunami waves.

However if you would like to contribute towards the work of those helping survivors rebuild their lives, the BBC are carrying a useful introduction on ways to make a donation here.

And the following organisations can all be trusted to use your help wisely:

The United Nations World Food Programme

The Disasters Emergency Committee in the UK

The American Red Cross

Médecins Sans Frontières International Tsunami Emergency Appeal

Sarvodaya Relief Fund for Tsunami Tragedy

UNICEF South Asia Tsunami Relief Efforts

THANK GOD ABOUT ADAM BUT MUCH HEARTFELT SYMPATHY TO ALL THOSE AFFECTED - I'M SO VERY SADDENED OVER THIS AWFUL, AWFUL SITUATION&WILL BE MAKING A DONATION AT THE BANK.
HOPE EVERYONE GIVES AS MUCH AS THEY CAN.

I have friends who live and are natives in Sri Lanka. A lot of my family members and myself are going to make a donation. My Sri Lankan friends are safe, but two of their relatives were swept out to sea.

Thanks to the staff for having used some space and time on this!

Thank you!
