Good for the boys, I am not surprised that they got a grammy nod howeve what the edge will say this time should they win will be a surprise.

Float On is better than Vertigo.

The Vertigo Video better not win, cause it's tripe.

Hopefully they get best rock performance, though.

I still think it's way too early to have nominated Vertigo...the way the Grammy nominations are decided is nuts to me. They should have the cut off date months earlier. It should of been considered next year not this year.

I'm going for U2 on this 3... but for the entire grammy's... I think WE should be behind real music... GREEN DAY... or RAY CHARLES

NO ONE ELSE SHOULD WIN ANYTHING!!!!! :madspit:

The day Hilary Duff wins a Grammy over U2 will be the day pigs fly

:D

I think I misread one of the songs though, I saw Duff, and went, "Argh!" :banghead: oops...

My words still stand though...I can't stand her.:barf:

The competition in the rock performance and song categories is just brutal this year. U2 is competing against folks like Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Green Day, Elvis Costello and Modest Mouse. This is good, though. Even if U2 loses, it will be to someone good, not crap like Hoobstink or Maroon 5.

Ryan Adams - Wonderwall

Once again, he's nominated for a cover song. :| With the exception of "New York, New York", they don't give him any nods for his amazing original work. Ah, well. I guess it's cool he's receiving any sort of positive recognition.

Yeah.. cause they SOMEHOW got nominated for song of the year... (?????)

And no Brian Wilson - Smile is kinda odd. The Grammys shoulda been all over that.

at least if they lose it'll be to decent competition...

Yeah, I could stand U2 losing to Franz or The Killers. I'd rather them win, of course, but I wouldn't go shoot people like I did when Train won BEST ROCK SONG... Train, rock? pfft!
