U2 in Brooklyn - The Stage is Set

Now that U2 are officially confirmed to play a brief MTV-sponsored set at Empire Fulton State Ferry Park in Brooklyn today, Interference.com member Ouizy was on the scene and snapped these pictures of the scene for you. The pictures capture the stage, the beautiful city scenery, trucks and fans lined up to be part of this exciting show!

Within the past few hours, U2 sightings around Manhattan have been clocked everywhere you look it seems - all for the purpose of shooting the music video for new single off of "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb," "All Because of You."

so sad i can't be there but i am getting a minute by minute up date from my friends. they just called to tell me they were just let in and are about 10 people from the front. i am so jealous especially cause i hooked them up w/ all the info for it. but at least i can be there thru them.

ABOY the new single, then. that's ok, I think, but maybe they should have had that one as the third single and Sometimes as the second. but then ... I think all songs on this album is singles.

They just finished, they played for an hour. I was on my home phone and cell phone listening to it in stereo. My friend and my brother were there and were nice enough to use up there cell phone minutes for me. I could actually hear it pretty well. I just closed my eyes and imagined i was there. If I can remember correctly they played the following, may not be in the correct order-

I may have missed one, not sure, maybe Crumbs from your Table.
ANyway, they made an announcement that it would air on MTV on Dec 8.
