What makes U2 great is that all four of them have been together since 1976. Name me one band that has never changed members for that long period of time??

ZZ Top is the only other one I can think of.

There's nothing wrong with Larry taking up acting as a hobby, and I'm sure he'd do well at it (he's certainly got the looks for it). But he'd never leave the band for Broadway. He'd probably just do local little theatre, or maybe a guest role in a TV show or two when U2 are not touring. Not exactly an earth-shattering revelation.

they always twist comments made by members of U2 to make a more sensational article. Larry mentioned NOTHING about leaving U2.
I've never heard of Contact Music before, but as far as the article goes, I know not to take them seriously.

No big deal if Larry did acting during a silent year for the band, especially while Bono's in Africa and what not. I'd see a movie if it had him in it. He doesn't really get a lot of attention, so I figure why not.
