Vertigo has gone straight to No.1 in the UK official download chart – and has broken weekly download records in the US.

In the US the digital version of Vertigo has sold sold more in the past week than any track in download history !

Vertigo has now also achieved the No.1 slot in all four iTunes stores - UK, US, France and Germany.

Discotheque sold like crazy at first but everyone hated it. And it was a better song than Vertigo.

That's why they had to do a "crowd-pleasing" album. Their confidence was so shaken by the reaction to POP.

I hope they can go back to their subtle roots. ATYCLB was the first U2 album that got worse with every listen.
