Apple iPod U2 Special Edition Updated

Apple quietly updated its U2 Special Edition iPod with the latest features; slashes price.

After updating the iPod 30GB and introducing the new 80GB with brigther screens and longer battery life, Apple quietly updated its 30GB U2 Special Edition iPod as well.

The new U2 iPod comes with a red Clickwheel and has the band's signature laser engraved in the back side. The U2 Special Edition iPod can now last up to 14 hours for music and 3.5 hours for video. Like the new 30GB/80GB iPods, the U2 Special Edition comes with brigther screen.

It also comes pre-loaded with 30 minutes of U2's music videos.

I bought my U2 iPod last week only, but it didn't come preloaded. The free video from Itunes with the code contained the same exact songs listed below by schumi.

COBL Milan is amaziiiing. I really wish they'd release it on DVD.

I can't seem to find the updated U2 IPod on the Australian Apple site (or any other sites that sell IPods).

Please help!

Are they waiting until closer to Christmas to release the updated version?

my u2 ipod broke. my wife and i took it to the apple store and they said it would cost more to fix it so you should buy a new one. well, being responsible adult i decided to wait. i went to another store and my wife went behind my back and bought herself a different ipod with my money. oh well thats life i guess. or is it?
