U2 Cover Kraftwerk on New Single
U2 have recorded a cover of Kraftwerk's 'Neon Lights' as one of the B-sides on their new single, 'Vertigo'.
NME.com reports that the Irish band's version of the electronic track was produced by Steve Lillywhite and recorded at Dublin's Hanover Quay Studios.
Other B-sides on the single, to be released on 8 November, are a new song called 'Are You Gonna Wait Forever?' and a Jack Knife Lee remix of the title track.
The single will be released on two CDs and a DVD single, featuring a video for the song.

I never heard Neon Lights. Bono sings a part of it during the Popmart in São Paulo before he starts singing I Still Haven't Found.... I remember thinking :"Hmmm, that's a nice little song." I like when U2 records covers, i'm very escited. i'm going to look for the original Neon Lights right now!
