Rolling Stone Describes New U2 Album

Hot New disc from U2
November (tentative)

The stripped-down songs on U2's new release rely on little more than guitar, bass and drums, to epic effect. The still untitled disc is lean and loud, with the heaviest guitars the band has put on record since The Joshua Tree in 1987. "Vertigo", the first single, is a classic U2 anthem-full of charging rhythms and clanging guitars. The album was recorded at the bands studio in Dublin and in the South of France, with Steve Lillywhite, Flood, Nellee Hooper, Jacknife Lee and Chris Thomas.

Thanks to partygirl2u!

Interesting mix here. Could make for an even more potent album than the "All That You Can't Leave Behind" cd. It seems that the stakes are ever increasing and they just go for it again. :D

Nelle Hooper is most definately a badass...and that is most definatly a VERY GOOD THING. He's worked with Bjork and lots of other people.

U2 and Bjork. Now that would be interesting.

Oh, and nice message board you have here.

yeah, I got my Rolling Stone today and was quite disappointed...the article was "fall releases" and U2 was on the 3rd page of the article, no picture and one small paragraph!

WTF!!!
