Revealed: Croke 3 Openers

On his radio show today, 2FM's Dave Fanning announced who the opening acts are for U2's third and final show in Dublin. The two groups are Ash, who is also opening for U2 in Zurich, Milan and Rome, and The Bravery, the latest addition to Vertigo Europe's impressive support band list.

U2.com has now announced that The Bravey will also be playing Juen 14th in Manchester.

Thank God they confirmed SOMEBODY to support this gig, I was beginning to think the pre-show was gonna be a real turkey!! Still would prefer the support acts from Cardiff (The Killers and Starsailor) or from the 24th June at Croker (Paddy Casey and Snow Patrol), but I'm willing to give these Bravery lads a chance to impress and I understand that Ash have seriously improved since I last saw them support U2 in 1997. Roll on June 27th!!!
