U2 wanted only general admission tickets to the FleetCenter floor for its three shows there this week, and the venue was happy to comply. But ticket-holders (1,800 each night) need to know some specifics for admission.
General admission ticket-holders can begin lining up at an exclusive entrance along the West Walkway at 8 a.m. the day of show (no overnight lines).
Upon arriving, GA ticket-holders will get a numbered wristband, at which point they can leave the area.
All GA ticket-holders with bands must be in line (in order of numbers) by 5 p.m. the day of the show if they want to be admitted in the proper order. They will be allowed into the FleetCenter at 6 p.m.
Once inside, GA wristbands will be swapped for GA floor wristbands. Some GA ticket-holders will be selected at random to have access to the inner-stage area.
The FleetCenter is holding an online drawing for a pair of tickets to Saturday's U2 concert. Register at www.fleetcenter.com. Lastly, [Tuesday] is ``U2 Day'' in Boston.
