Interpol set for support when U2 perform in Glasgow in June.

The New York based quartet will play with U2 on June 21st at Hampden Park, Glasgow.

Interpol are the seventh support act to be named to play dates with U2 this year.

That is awesome! I have been advocating this on these boards for some time now. If only they could come back with U2 in the fall and do some North American dates!

really?... cuz i also hear u2 in "next exit" ... totally reminds me of "van deimen's land".... but then i hear u2 in many things... so it could just all be in my mind
