U2 to play extra dates in Europe
U2 have added three extra dates to their world Vertigo tour to please fans amid a frenzy of ticket-buying, which has seen some concerts sold out in just over an hour.
The band will now play extra concerts on 10 July in Paris, 21 July in Milan and 14 August in Lisbon.
The dates have been added "to meet the demand from the fans amid an unprecedented frenzy," said promoter Gerard Drouot.
The tour, which begins in the US on 28 March, moves to Europe on 10 June with an opening gig in Brussels.
The band will play Dublin's Croke Park on the 24 and 25 June.
