The band are in LA to perform at tonight's Grammy Awards.

U2 are nominated in three categories and Bono will also be joining Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys and others in a special tribute version of The Beatles' 'Across the Universe' which will raise money for the tsunami relief effort.

The song, also featuring Velvet Revolver, Tim McGraw, and Brian Wilson, will be available to buy as an audio download from iTunes or on video from the CBS TV website.

If the Grammy ceremony isn't airing on TV near you, you can catch a stream online here http://www.cbs.com/specials/47grammys/

THEY DID AWESOME!! I loved how at the beginning Bono explained the song and talked about his father. I was a little worried about the high notes but THEY never disappoints during a performance. I loved it! What did you guys think?

Well, I just saw the acceptance speech, and I think that many tour speculations have been answered. And hooray for Larry.

I think they did an awesome job, but I was kind of disapointed in the song choice. I thought they would have done Vertigo. Theyt did great anyway. I also loved the acceptance speach. Poor Edge  Way to go Larry!!! Who here thought Bono was not like himself? Didn't feel like talking I guess. They were all great though!!
