Vertigo 2005 U2 Live from Chicago Airing on HDNet January 29th


LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 2006--HDNet presents the HD television premiere of an unforgettable performance from U2's 2005-06 "Vertigo" Tour, premiering Sunday, January 29, 2006 at 9:00 p.m. ET on the HDNet Concert Series.

The electric performance features songs such as "New Year's Day" and "Where The Streets Have No Name," right up to date with "Vertigo," the smash hit from their the number one studio album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb."

It was somewhat disappointing in that they cut the concert down to 90 minutes. Several portions of the concert were gone including Zoo Station and The Fly. I thought they should have left in the entire Zoo TV encore because it really was the coolest use of the light show which makes for better tv, especially in HD.

All in all, though, I think it gave a favorable impression of the band for HD Net viewers seeing the Vertigo Tour for the first time.
