People's Choice Awards


The People’s Choice Awards were handed out in Pasedena on Sunday night. Top music prizes went to the usual favorites - Usher for favourite male singer, Alicia Keys for favourite female singer, and U2 for favourite group. Nick & Jessica's "Newlyweds" won for top Reality Tv Show. Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" took home the prize for top motion picture. Best comedy went to "Shrek 2". Favourite on-screen chemistry went to Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler for "50 First Dates". Best leading lady went to Renee Zellweger and favourite leading man went to Brad Pitt.

Did anyone watch this show? Was this award presented on TV? If so, did anyone accept for U2?

I had it playing in the background just in case, and no they were not presented... none of the music awards were presented live, winners were just mentioned in a clip. Not even all the nominees were listed...

Well, actually what's even worse is that the only song award that was presented live was Best Cover Song.

U2 and about 15 other awards were just blown over...I really wanted to see an acceptance (even a taped one like Johnny Depps)
