I am a fan from australia, queensland. praying for a sydney gig plz plz plz!!!
I play accoustic guitar and love playing songs like kite, van diemen's land, running to stand still, angel of harlem, etc.. still practicing crumbs and sometimes from HTBAAB (one thing i really like in these songs is that bono knows how to hit powerful notes - they're like a natural progression- so its fun to sing along)
back in 1983 i was stunned when i heard and saw new years day - it was like a breathe of fresh air - and been a big fan ever since (October was my 1st foray into piano lol). Luv Boy as it harkens back to punk (re: suzy and the banshees)
Fav song - DVD Slane Castle gig - either Kite (poor guy was in tears and so was i) or streets have no name (that beginning! pavarotti couldnt do better) or Elevation (never seen a crowd erupt like that!) ok! that's more than one :/
