I heard U2 played Mission Impossible 2 theme. Is it true? Is it in original film soundtrack? If not, which album can I find it?

Yes, U2 re-vamped the Mission Impossible theme for the movie. Infact to be accurate, it was Larry and Adam who worked on it. So you should be able to find it on the soundtrack of the album.
