Hello, I'm Al from Belgium. U2 fan since 'Achtung Baby'. Of course I liked U2 before, but with 'Achtung Baby' things changed. I went to concerts, bought albums and singles where before I only bought some singles.
My all time favourite U2 song is 'With or without you'. It's been the track of my life for quite some time. It expressed my feelings much better than I ever could do myself. As I always got lost in difficult words/metaphors which really never got so close to the point as Bono did with 'With or without you'. Thank you God (=Bono).
Now I'm talking about Bono. He's my absolute example as a performer. Brilliant on stage. The way he connects with his fans. All the things he does aside. And as you noticed, I nickname him 'God'. For that I have my reasons, but that's to hard and personal to explain. But I guess some of you surely understand even without words.
