Newbie Checking In

Hi,

I registered with this forum after realizing that I was, indeed, a U2 fan. I suppose you can blame my Dad for that, constantly exposing me to them while riding in his car! I'm a little overwhelmed by the scale of the site, and a little intimidated by the forum itself.

I currently own copies of War, The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, and plan on buying a copy of The Unforgettable Fire tomorrow. No concert DVDs or bootlegs yet. As you can tell, I'm a little new to this stuff. On a related note, I greatly prefer the band's pre-Zooropa output compared to their newer albums, but I suppose I'll just have to stop being a nostalgia fart and give it a good listen sometime soon.

Well, I'll just be sure to stop by here a few times a week just to catch up on the latest news and occasionally vent my spleen.
