I just joined Interference because I'm still on Cloud Nine from the Nashville show and I wanted to talk to other fans about it.
My name is Debbie and I live in the mountains of Northeast Georgia. Been here for 12 years, but prior to that I spent 36 years in Memphis. Grew up near Graceland. Naturally, my whole family is really into music.
My two favorite bands are R.E.M. (seen them in concert nine times) and U2 (five times, including Nashville July 2). I enjoyed U2 ever since I first heard them on the radio, but I didn't become a serious fan until I saw them during the PopMart tour in 1997 (Liberty Bowl Stadium, Memphis). Since then, I've seen them three times in Atlanta (Elevation, Vertigo, and 360 tours).
I won't get into all the reasons why I love U2 (I can do that in the other forums), but I'll just say that there is no other band in the world that fills me with so much joy.
I look forward to having conversations with all of you.
