Yet another newbie joins the fold.

My name is Lesley, and I live in Bellingham, WA. I'm originally from Virginia, and I've been a U2 fan since about '91. (Achtung!)

I guess my biggest attraction to U2 is their continued relevance over the years. It seems that as I go through life and have more experiences, I uncover more and more layers of meaning in the music - It just never gets old and tired.

So thanks to all of you for keeping up what looks like a great forum.

Baker is indeed a beautiful place. Alas, I never learned to ski (or snowboard). Falling down has gotten scarier over the years. I may still give it a shot one of these days. For now, I'll stick to hiking.

Yeah, Vancouver was actually closer than Seattle - go figure.

The border guard on my way back into the States was jealous - poor guy had to work the graveyard shift.
