Hi All! I'm Fred and I'm usually stuck out here between Palm Springs and Indio, CA in the desolate land of no decent music or record stores. I do also have a house in Los Angeles and sometimes I even go there.

I use the same handle on all the forums so some may have seen me lurking around MyLesPaul, RickResource, TDPRI and some of the others. The 80's was my time to gig when the beer was cold, the groupies were hot and David Evans had hair. These days I stay out of trouble with guitars by buying a lot and selling a few and help the local youngsters with their equipment, including my 3 (adult) kids, who all play.

Oh yeah.. I'm also the guitar manager for the "Edge" player of a Professional U2 Tribute Band in Hollywood, which is the main reason I'm here lol.

Hi Fred and welcome. I'm new here too, just joined a couple days ago so I'm still getting the hang of it. I am also in the middle of nowhere but not in a desert, I'm stuck in the northeast part of Mississippi.
