Hi folks. Just joined. Followed the band since 1986 when I was Fifteen. A mate at school introduced me to the War album on tape. The rest is history. Got the first 4 albums and Wide Awake in America (on import) and lost myself in them until The Joshua Tree came out.
I missed the Fire tour but been to every tour since with the exception of the last one. I'd just split from my wife and couldn't face it. We'd been to all the gigs together so it was a bit raw.
Life's back on track now and I've rediscovered my love for U2 and a few other bands like Big Country and The Alarm.
Favourite songs are Shadows and Tall Trees (hence the username), Bad and A Celebration. All their other tunes come close though haha.
Anyway, it's great to be on board. Dunno why I didn't join sooner.
