Ok, I think it`s time to say something here and not only read post

I have been here some time, looking around on the forum, looking at the pictures  and things like that..
So now it`s time to introduce my selfe.

Ok, I`m a 24 years old girl from Norway, but I was born in Chile. Moved to Norway when I was 4 years old.

At the moment I`m studding graphic design, and hope to become a graphic designer one day

What more can I tell, my U2 story?

Well, I remember the first time I saw U2 where at MTV, I must have been like 6-7 years old, it was the Where The Streets Have No Name video, I still remember standing in front of the TV waching the video and my dad talking about how fantastic it was how they made the video, all the people and the police coming to stop them and all that.
I saw that video a lot in that time, and I liked the music and the video. Later I saw I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For and With Or Without You, also liked them in a way, but did not think so much about it. I was very small at that time, just a little girl  and had other stuff on my mind.

Then after that when I was older I knew about them, they where there, I could listen to their music, but I was no big fan or anything. They just where there just like any other band.
Remember the mum of one of my friends where at the ZooTv Tour in Sweeden in 92, and in that period we only heard the Achtung Baby album when I was at hear house

But it was when they where here in Norway for the POPMART TOUR 97 that I notice them more, I was 14 years old. And I was in Oslo that day, on vacation. And as we where driving to an amusing park we saw the BIG stage, really amazing!!!!! I know a stage does not mean a lot for other.. but for me it did. So sad the consert was sold out
I think that is where my first BIG U2 period started. I hade to buy the tour t-shirt, the CDs.. and everything..

And now I`m still here... loving Bono and U2

ok, that`s all from me now :)
Remember, my english is not that good :madspit:

Love, Kinaitra

Nice place Bergen ive only ever been once when I was very young and can only just remember little things about it.

My mother is going over there to see the family in September, which should be fun for her,

im thinking of going sometime next year but havent decided when yet.

Is it a nice place to study at

Yeah, Bergen is a nice place to study, I like it here.
And I love the rain, so can`t get any better :D
Bergen is known for all the rain :p

you should try visiting the lake district then (near to where i live in north england) you would be right at home rains all the time.
have you lived in Bergen since you were 4 or did you move there because of your studies?

Sounds great
No, only because of my studies.
I`m from Høyanger in Sogn og Fjordane, little small place in between mountains, it`s like a hole

that would be a fjord then. lovely but then most of Norway is.
Our flood was a freak of nature. would take quiet a bit of water to get to your house though wouldnt it?

Yeah, that`s a fjord
Well, it`s lovely in a way, but you get a bit bored
Would take a loooot more water to reach our house.. :D

mhm, it`s really boring.. and as it`s a small place everyone knows everyone.
And I don`t like that, so it was good to move out from there.
Here in Bergen I share apartment with my sister and hers boyfriend.
It`s very expensive here, and we live in the middle of the city :)

I can imagine it being expensive, at least your in a major town now, Im lucky that my town is not too small that you know everybody and not to big that you never see the same face ever again. Just the right size.
How long are your studies?
How far into them are you? How many years have you got left etc?
I have to say as well your english is exceptional.

aww.. Thanks :cute:
Well, it`s a two years course, so I have one year left.
Befor that I have stydy things like arts and crafts, publicity, illustrations.
After this I know I wont get a job that easy.. So I`m thinking mabye I should try something oustide Norway, mabye a design school in England or Irland? ( I wish  )
But still never know what will happen in one year from now..
