Hello from DC. Look forward to sharing stories and memories of u2. I am a longtime fan but have only seen them 4 or 5 times. However, I did get to see one of the most amazing shows ever - the rescheduled Honolulu 12/09/06 Hawaii show, because the April show (the band had wrapped up the Asia leg of the tour and was stopping in Hawaii on the way home) got cancelled because someone got sick/hurt, can't remember who. Anyway, Pearl Jam was the opener! Another interesting story from the show - Ticketmaster completely screwed up the ticketing for original ticket holders and some seats were double booked... which they knew they screwed up, so they had tables set up in the councourse, you went to the table, got a ticketmaster person, they walked to your seat to verify the doublebook and then escorted you to new seats... which were pretty much the best seats in the house! A chaotic but memorable night.
