I've been a fan since the mid 1980s. I've even been a moderator on a couple U2 'unofficial' forums. I'm a fan without being a fanatic though. I'd never go out of my way to follow the band.
From my understanding, Jimmy Fallon is about to take over Jay Leno's spot. U2 are scheduled to be his first musical guest next month. I'm looking forward to hearing new music from the band.
I've seen the band four times in concert. The past two times were in Tampa, Florida where my wife and I were lucky enough to get into the ellipse area on the front row of Adam's side of the stage.
