Hi everyone! Very new U2 fan here. I'm afraid I can only claim the status since December 17, but I was a fast convert. I knew some U2 songs and generally liked them, but wasn't a huge fan. My friend, however, had an extra ticket to the U2 concert playing in our city (and I didn't even know they were coming) and kindly invited me. "Meh," I thought, "Free ticket! And U2's a really big band, I should probably go. Besides, it's with my friend, it'll be fun!"
Oh gracious. The next day I was rushing out to buy cds so I could learn all the songs I didn't know at the show, surfing websites, and reading books.
