I'm an Interference noob, but am a regular on another U2 forum.
I'm 20 years old and my name is Maura and I'm from Chicago.
I first got into U2 when I was young, because my mom is a big U2 fan and gave me all of her hand me down concert t-shirts. some of my mom's friends would look at me with the Unforgettable Fire shirt and say "you're not old enough for that tour!!"
I first listened to songs popular on the radio such as With or Without You or Streets. I finally really got into U2 when Beautiful Day came out and I asked for that record for my birthday. Ever since then I've been obsessed.
Although I don't have any friends that are as obsessed with U2 as I am, I'm glad to meet more on the internet and learn more about the band as well as other U2 fans!
