..I finally decided to join and post. This is one of my favorite forums ever and I never even posted on it. Go figure. 
Hello all.
My name's Pat, and I've been a fan of U2 ever since I was a wee lad. Sadly I have yet to see them in concert. Anyway, I like metal, the outdoors, programming (I'm a software developer) and pretending to be a ninja that saves the world. I'm getting married this year at the ripe age of 26 to a lovely lady. When I'm not busy saving the world, I enjoy nerdy computer-y things, music, various game, running, hiking on the cascade foothills, getting into fist fights with pirates teamed up with lions and bears that can shoot laser beams out of their eyes, and obviously being a ninja.
I'm also very involved with animals, and own two cats and a German Shepherd puppy that is undergoing training to do Schutzhund. He doesn't look like much now, but he'll be a perfectly adequate ninja companion when he gets older.
