With Or Without You back in UK Top 75

The UK charts changed about 18 months ago so that both physical and download sales for a single could count towards a chart position - it has changed again now so that the song doesn't even need to be released as a single to make the chart - meaning that any song can make it onto the chart if it gets strong enough sales.

When the Arctic Monkeys last album was released, a lot of people bought the album tracks individually, so when the singles chart came out there were a dozen or so Monekys tracks in the chart!

At the moment if you look you can probably find a few old Christmas songs lurking around the the chart - All I Want for Chrismtas (Mariah Carey) and The Pogues (Fairytale of New York) seem to re-appear at this time of year.

If this is based on that GOD AWFUL cover sang by Diana Vickers on X-Factor, then people are going to get an unpleasant surprise when they listen to the version they've downloaded :up: ... and if they've never heard the U2 version of With or Without you before, then that's amazing.
